Drew Brees Chat Tonight

    <span style="">         </span>         <span style="" class="Normal">New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees will be answering all your questions in the NFLRUSH Zone Press Room on July 21 at 6 PM CT.  

Brees was born in Austin, TX on January 15, 1979. He played college football for four seasons at Purdue. In his senior year in 2000, he won the Maxwell award as the nation's most outstanding player and lead the Boilermakers to their first Rose Bowl in 34 years.

Drew has played in the NFL for eight seasons, making the Pro Bowl 3 times, including last season. Brees played his first five NFL seasons in San Diego with LaDainian Tomlinson before being traded to New Orleans in 2006. In his first year with the Saints, Drew threw for a league-leading 4,418 passing yards, and along with rookie running back Reggie Bush, helped lead the franchise to its first ever NFC Championship game appearance.

In 2008, Drew joined former Miami Dolphins quarterback Dan Marino as the only quarterback since in NFL history to throw for over 5,000 yards.

In 2009, Drew Brees will, once again, act as the spokesman for the NFL's Take A Player To School Sweepstakes, which allows kids who are selected to create their Ultimate Physical Education Class with an NFL player.
