TAYSOM HILL 2025 SEASON ANALYSIS

New Orleans Saints quarterback/tight end/running back/punt protector Taysom Hill had an abbreviated ninth NFL season, as his debut was delayed due to his recovery from a torn ACL in 2024. But once Hill became available, he didn't miss any of New Orleans' final 13 games and finished with 114 rushing yards and a touchdown on 52 carries, 91 yards on 11 catches and 57 passing yards and a touchdown while completing 2 of 6 pass attempts. Hill, who was named the team’s Ed Block Courage Award winner by his teammates as a role model for his inspiration, sportsmanship and courage, became the only player in the Super Bowl era to top 1,000 career yards passing (2,426), rushing (2,551) and receiving (1,034).

BEST GAME OF TAYSOM HILL'S 2025 SEASON

Hill had a vintage performance against the Jets on Dec. 21 in the Caesars Superdome. He ran 12 times for a team-high 42 yards, caught four passes for 36 yards and threw a 38-yard touchdown pass in the Saints’ 29-6 victory. It was his best single-game totals in all three categories last season.

Taysom Hill, on his unique experience with the New Orleans Saints:

This organization, this city has been so good to me — all the way back to Sean (Payton). He had this unique vision of things that I could do. I owe a lot of thanks to a lot of people throughout the last nine years... because I think it would be easy not to give me opportunities like that, to have these unique experiences. I really appreciate what those guys did early on and really appreciate (Coach) Kellen (Moore), and (offensive coordinator) Klint (Kubiak) last year, and these guys that have continued to create opportunities for me. It means a lot.
