The New Orleans Saints will host the Los Angeles Chargers in their 2022 NFL preseason finale on August 26, 2022 at the Caesars Superdome at 7:00 p.m. The Saints won the last meeting between these two teams which was a 30-27 overtime victory. History: New Orleans Saints vs. Los Angeles Chargers

The Chargers lead the series with a record of 7-6. The last meeting between the two franchises occurred in 2020 where the Saints won 30-27 in an overtime thriller at home. Since 2000, the two teams have been seeing each other every four years, excluding preseason matchups. The Chargers are led by Justin Herbert who surpassed 5,000 yards in 2021.
