NFL CAREER – Broughton enters his second NFL season after being drafted by New Orleans in the third round (71st) overall of the 2025 NFL Draft. After suffering a season-ending hip injury in his NFL debut, he will take advantage of a full offseason to compete for snaps on the team's front line.

COLLEGE – Spent five seasons with the Longhorns, seeing action in 56 career games with 18 starts and was credited with 70 tackles (39 solo), 10.5 stops for loss, 6.5 sacks for loss of 40 yards, 15 quarterback hits, four fumble recoveries, three passes defensed and two forced fumbles…A mainstay on the Texas defense in 2024, starting all 16 games and logged 39 tackles, 4.5 stops for loss, four sacks, two pass breakups, two forced fumbles and recovered three fumbles.
