NFL CAREER – After starting the season on the practice squad for the second consecutive season, the former Notre Dame standout stepped up to provide the Saints offense another weapon after personnel changes and injuries in the wide receiver corps. In eight games with one start, Austin caught 13 passes for 140 yards (10.8 avg.) with his first career touchdown. The South Florida native will look to take advantage of his second full offseason and strength and conditioning program in New Orleans and compete in the receiver room.
