It seemed like even in week two, Lavonte David really started standing out.  What do you think about him?

"He is playing outstanding.  It is interesting, you go through the year and each week you put on cutups, you put on games of opponents you are playing and a week ago we saw an outstanding Mike linebacker.  I would say in Lavonte's case, he plays that Will if you will.  He is very active.  He is very athletic.  He is a strong tackler.  He is having a Pro Bowl season.  The culmination of his tape demonstrates that.  He is playing extremely well."

When there is someone on the other side that has been fined a lot for taking shots at people, I'm talking about Dashon Goldson, do you do anything to maybe key in on the official before the game?

"No, we talk in regards to how we are fitting the running game, who is in charge of blocking the strong, the  free safety, our keys in regards to the passing game, but no, we would not at all."

I think Malcolm Jenkins called Vincent Jackson a safety blanket for them, is it impressive what he has done knowing that he is probably the one everyone is going after?

"He's real consistent.  I would say, not knowing the player, but I would say he has a very good football IQ.  He seems to do the right thing each time within the framework of what they are trying to do.  In the passing game he has very strong hands.  He can get down the field.  I think his yards per reception is at the top of our league's history which is pretty impressive considering the time he has been doing it.  He's obviously been an important part of what they do and very reliable at it."
