Letter from New Orleans Saints Owner Tom Benson to season-ticket holders

Ticket prices not increasing in 2015

!

February 18, 2015

On behalf of our entire organization, I would like to personally thank you for your unwavering support of our team and the commitment you have shown to our players, coaches and staff. We are thoroughly and thoughtfully evaluating every aspect of our team and organization, as we do throughout the off-season and regular season. Our collective expectation is to put ourselves in the position to compete for the Super Bowl every year and I am confident we are taking the necessary steps to do just that.

One of our most significant focuses this offseason will be regaining one of the greatest home field advantages in sports. Our "Dome Field Advantage" is created by you and we strive to provide you the best possible game experience from the time you enter the grounds of the Mercedes-Benz Superdome until you leave after another thrilling win. In order to improve your experience, we will once again be asking you to participate in an online survey this offseason to better guide us in our game experience planning. We want to hear from you on the music you like, fan engagement methods that work (and which ones don't) and what helps you be your absolute loudest for the full 60-minutes. Over the last several years your feedback has directly led to a reduction of in-game commercials (reduced by 80%), a wider selection of music and even what music we should play after every touchdown. Whether it's the bands at Champions Square, halftime entertainment or the music you hear upon entering the stadium, your participation in this survey is critical to providing you the environment you want so you can be at your best on game day. Most importantly, we want you to have fun and your direct feedback helps us do our best to deliver.

Since 2009, we have had only one price increase with prices raised by $10 or less per game in 2013. I am pleased to announce there will be NO INCREASE in season ticket prices for the 2015 season. While we are not increasing ticket prices, we are currently working on significant investments to enhance the fan experience in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome and will be announcing those plans shortly. These investments will help our iconic stadium remain one of the premier sports and entertainment facilities in the world and better position New Orleans to host the biggest national sporting events in the future. Most importantly, these upgrades will improve your experience each and every game.

On a personal note, I would like to thank you for all of the love and support you have shown me over the last few difficult weeks. Gayle and I are overwhelmed by the kindness and encouragement you have given us. Please know that the future success, continuity and stability of the New Orleans Saints and our Pelicans will always be our first priority and I can assure you I have never been more eager to pursue another championship for you and our great fans across the Gulf South and the world. Thank you, again, for your support of our team. We cannot wait to join you in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in just a few short months.

Sincerely,

Tom Benson
