DEMARIO DAVIS 2025 SEASON ANALYSIS

Davis continued to thumb his nose at time in his 14th NFL season, establishing a career high with 143 tackles. He has amassed more than 100 tackles for nine straight seasons and 11 times in his career, and for the 12th time he played in every game. Davis also tied his career high with two forced fumbles, recovered a fumble, defended three passes, had six tackles for loss, two quarterback hits and a half-sack. He wants to play for a 15th season, and the numbers suggest there's no reason he shouldn't.

BEST GAME OF DEMARIO DAVIS' 2025 SEASON

Davis didn't have his highest tackle output against the Giants in a 26-14 victory on Oct. 5 in the Caesars Superdome; his 10 tackles that game was a mark he topped four times during the season. But he had a quarterback hit and, more important, his chase-down and strip of Giants receiver Darius Slayton at the Saints' 35-yard line in the second quarter, with New Orleans trailing 14-13 and the Giants poised to widen their lead, helped set up the Saints for a lead-taking field goal as time expired in the first half. New Orleans didn't allow another point in its first win of the season.

Demario Davis, on his love for the New Orleans Saints organization:

I don’t even think I have to speak about my love for the city and the organization. This organization in particular because of what I feel about the owner, Mrs. B (Gayle Benson). I think she’s the greatest owner in sports, so playing for her is huge. I love the coaches that have been brought in and the culture that has been established. I think very highly of (head coach) Kellen Moore. The way he runs a team is how I would run a team. Coach (Brandon) Staley, as a defensive coordinator, has really even in Year 14, taken my game to another level. I think the player that I’ve been able to be this year is directly connected to having him come in. I’ve learned a lot playing for him. I don’t have to speak about what this organization means to me but at the same time, I don’t have but so much say-so in where my journey goes. As a servant of (God), I go where I’m sent. I certainly don’t close a book before it’s supposed to be closed, but when new chapters happen I have to be open to go. I love it here but at the same time, I never can project what’s going to happen next.
