2020 SEASON TICKET FAQs

Will fans be allowed to attend Saints games during the 2020 season?
As the world knows, our fans create the greatest home field advantage in all of sports and while we were hoping to play with a full stadium, the reality of the current health conditions and government policies will not allow us to do so. When our local and state officials feel it is safe to do so, we plan to begin the 2020 season with a partial attendance policy.

How are the Saints handling 2020 season tickets?
Given our capacity restrictions, we want to ensure that ALL of our Season Ticket Holders have equitable access to attend games. To start, each Season Ticket Holder account will be randomly assigned one (1) of the first two (2) or three (3) games that will be played in front of fans. The final rotation will depend on the total number of season ticket holders that need to be accommodated once the deadline for opt-outs has passed (9/9/20).

Future game and seat assignments will be dictated by continued guidance from our health and safety experts and governmental requirements (including the CDC). These policies will be communicated to season ticket holders approximately one month in advance of the actual games if and when tickets become available.

In addition, we want to preserve as much of what makes your game experience special by ensuring that you can continue to attend games with your friends and families by not breaking up your account into smaller seating configurations. We will be treating each location on your account as a unique "account pod" (a "pod" is defined as the number of seats that may be seated together) that will be socially distanced from other account pods. This approach will allow us to maintain flexibility to respond to potential changes to health conditions and safety guidelines that could potentially allow for increased attendance throughout the season.

How and when will I receive my 2020 game tickets and/or parking passes?
In 2020, all accounts will shift to mobile tickets and parking passes. This will create a safer, contactless ticketing experience for our fans. It will also allow for increased flexibility and efficiency throughout the season as we adapt to updated conditions and guidelines. Your mobile tickets and/or parking passes can be downloaded to your smartphone, or transferred to your guests by logging into "Account Manager" via the Saints App.

Will Season Ticket Holders be able to purchase tickets to additional games during the 2020 season?
Following the assignment of games, any additional single game tickets that become available will be offered via lottery to Season Ticket Holders who were not granted access to the individual game.

Will Season Ticket Holders still be seated in their usual seat location during the 2020 season?
Due to reduced seating capacity and social distancing guidelines, we cannot guarantee your actual seat location will be available. The randomized game assignments will be based on seat configurations that comply with social distancing guidelines. While we are doing our best to make these assignments as close to your actual seat location and section as possible, the social distancing guidelines required by the CDC, NFL and our local and state officials make it very difficult to issue exact seat locations in most cases.

Is there a deadline to opt out of the 2020 season?
You must submit your opt out request by 5:30pm CST on September 9th, 2020. Please note that once you opt out, you will not be guaranteed access to tickets for the remainder of the 2020 season, including any potential postseason games.

If I opt out of the 2020 season, will I retain my status for the 2021 season?
Yes! All accounts in good standing will maintain their current Season Ticket Holder status and seats for the 2021 season.

How will refunds be processed if opt out?
All refunds will be applied using the same payment method that was submitted for the season ticket renewal ie. credit card or check. If multiple credit cards were used, each card will receive the refund for the same amount that was originally charged. Refunds will be processed within 4 to 6 weeks from the date the form was received.

What if I have already sold or transferred some of my tickets for the 2020 season?
All tickets have automatically been returned to the original account. No action is required on your part. The option to transfer or resell your newly assigned 2020 tickets will be available to you in Account Manager once they are assigned. Please carefully review the updated terms and conditions before making any transfer or resale transactions.

What new changes can I expect on game day, including any health & safety protocols?
In the coming days, we'll roll out a full explanation of what to expect on game day as part of our "Know Before You Go" fan education program. You'll receive these details via email and they will also be posted on the Saints website and app. The NFL is requiring that masks be worn by all fans and staff and will be enforcing this policy as part of the NFL Fan Code of Conduct.
