There is one international airport, Tampa International Airport, located six miles west of downtown, and only 4.5 miles from Raymond James Stadium. The typical flight time for a non-stop flight from MSY to TPA is 1 hour and 20 minutes.
If you prefer driving, New Orleans to Tampa will take you approximately 10 hours. The easiest route is I-10 E to I-75 S to I-275 S. For those of you who don't want to drive but want to enjoy the scenic ride, opt for a train. Amtrak has trains leaving daily from New Orleans and arriving in Tampa, be sure to check times, as there are multiple departures. For tickets and more information **visit here**.
Transportation from TPA
There are eight rental car services at Tampa International Airport. You can also hail a cab from TPA to downtown or Cruise Port for a flat rate of $25. To take public transportation to downtown hop on HART buses for Hillsborough, located at the East end of Red Baggage Claim Curbside by Belt 15. The route map and schedule is located at the bus stop. App-Based Ride services such as Uber or Lyft are available outside from baggage claim with fares to downtown starting at $10. All prices are subject to change.
Getting to Raymond James Stadium
If you're going with a group to the game, download the Rally Bus app and take a shuttle bus to the stadium.Look for the game on their event schedule here.
Uber and Lyft will also take you to and from the arena. The drop-off area is located at the Mass Transit Drop-off. The pick-up area is located at Steinbrenner Field, across Dale Mabry Highway. Please use the pedestrian bridge next to the Mass Transit area to cross the road.
For Taxi's and Buses will drop-off and pick up on the North side of the stadium off N. Dale Mabry Highway next to the pedestrian bridge, which is designated for mass transit, non-disabled drop-off, taxi pick-up, buses, uber and limo staging. Parking at Raymond James Stadium
If you decide to drive to the stadium there are a few options for parking. Pre-paid parking is guaranteed and you can reserve your spot here. For cash parking, you can park in lots 1, 2, 11, 12, 13, 14, A, C, 3, 6D and Hillsborough Community College for $25 per space, except 13 which is $15 per space. All lots open 3.5 hours prior to kickoff.
RV Parking
No RV's, buses or campers are allowed on stadium property during Buccaneers games. They must park in Lot 14. RV's, buses and campers are not permitted to stay on any stadium property overnight.
Public Transportation
Hillsborough Area Regional Transit Authority (HART) is Tampa's public transportation system. A one-day pass can be purchased for $4 and a three-day unlimited pass can be purchased for $11.75.
