Getting to Miami
Fans can travel to Miami by flying into Miami International Airport or Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport. A direct flights from New Orleans to Miami takes about 2 hours from takeoff to touch-down. For fans looking to drive, expect about an 12 and a half hour trip.
Miami International Airport and Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport
Once you've arrived at MIA or FLL there are several forms of transportation to make the trip to Miami including: taxis, limousine services, shuttles, and app-based rideshare services. All ground transportation services – including rental car agencies, taxi and limousine services are located on the lower level of the terminal building adjacent to baggage claim.
App-based rideshare programs such as Uber and Lyft are available and range in price depending on the size of the vehicle requested.
Getting to Hard RockStadium
The city of Miami offers a variety of public transportation options including bus and rail. Miami-Dade County Public Transportation is the home of public transportation in Miami, and all routes and schedules can be found on their website.
Parking at Hard Rock Stadium
For events at Hard Rock Stadium, the parking lots will close 1.5 hours after the event is over. Hard Rock Stadium parking gates open four hours prior to kickoff, and stadium gates open two hours prior to kickoff. In order to provide a less congested entry, for Miami Dolphins games, your ticket will designate a dedicated 15-minute window when you will have access to enter a specific gate. All guests can enter the last 20 minutes prior to the start of the event. Note that single game parking passes are not available on gamedays, except for Park & Ride. Tailgating Policies
During the first hour of Miami Dolphins games, fans with blue or orange parking passes are allowed to park where they desire in the parking areas for which they have a valid parking pass. After the first hour, directive parking will begin to ensure efficiency and a smooth traffic flow. If you are parking in the yellow lots, directive parking will be in effect from the time lots open.
