The New Orleans Saints will host the Arizona Cardinals to open the season on September 7, 2025 in Week 1 at noon on CBS in the Caesars Superdome. The Saints face the Cardinals for the first time in the regular season since 2022 and will look to break the 16-16 tie in all-time record between the two franchises. The Cardinals finished 2024 at 8-9 and have missed the postseason in their previous three campaigns.

History: New Orleans Saints vs. Arizona Cardinals

New Orleans last played the Cardinals in 2022, losing a road contest 42-34 in Week 7. The Saints are tied 16-16 in all-time in the regular season in home and road contests against Arizona but hold a 9-4 edge at home. The two teams also met in Week 1 the 2024 preseason with the Saints securing a 16-14 victory on a walk-off field goal.
