The New Orleans Saints will travel to the Patriots (12:00 p.m. CDT) Sunday, Sept. 26 on . The Saints fell to the Patriots 36-20 at home in Week 2 of the 2017 season. New England jumped out to an early 20-3 lead, but the Saints offense came to life and scored on two consecutive possessions to come within a touchdown of the Patriots before the half. The reigning Super Bowl champions that season responded though and drove 75 yards in six plays to increase their lead to 27-13 and never looked back.

The Patriots lead the all-time series 10-4 and most recently got the best of the Saints in a 36-20 win at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans' 2017 home opener after which they ripped off eight consecutive wins.
