NFL CAREER – Travis Etienne Jr. is entering his first season with the Saints after agreeing to a multi-year contract during free agency. Etienne is entering his sixth NFL season after being selected by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the first round (25th overall) of the 2021 NFL Draft out of Clemson. In his first five NFL seasons (all with Jacksonville), Etienne has appeared in 66 games with 60 starts and rushed 897 times for 3,798 yards (4.2 avg.) with 25 touchdowns and had 168 receptions for 1,338 yards with seven receiving touchdowns. One of just three NFL players to have 500-plus rushing yards and 250-plus receiving yards each season from 2022-25, joining RBs Saquon Barkley and Josh Jacobs. The Jennings, La. native has also rushed 40 times for 238 yards (6.0 avg.) with one touchdown and has nine catches for 79 yards and one score in three postseason starts. In 2025, Etienne appeared in all 17 games with 16 starts and rushed for 1,107 yards on 260 carries with seven touchdowns, while adding 36 receptions for 292 yards with a career-high and team-leading six receiving touchdowns. His six touchdown receptions ranked second among NFL running backs in 2025. In the Jaguars AFC Wild Card postseason contest against Buffalo, Etienne recorded 116 yards from scrimmage and one touchdown reception.

In the regular season, tallied 220 rushing attempts for 1,125 yards and five touchdowns. 1,125 rushing yards ranked ninth in the NFL and were the second-most rushing yards for a player who had under 250 attempts, trailing McCaffrey (1,139 yards) by only 14 yards. COLLEGE – At Clemson, rushed 686 times for 4,952 yards with 70 rushing touchdowns and caught 102 passes for 1,155 yards and eight receiving TDs. NCAA FBS record holder for most career games scoring a touchdown (46 of 55 career games) and ACC career record-holder for rushing yards (4,952), total touchdowns (78), rushing touchdowns (70) and points (468). ACC Offensive Player of the Year in 2018 and 2019. Finished his career ranked No. 1 in ACC history in both rushing yards (4,952) and rushing touchdowns (70).
