NFL CAREER – Selected by the Saints in the second round (60th overall) of the 2021 NFL draft, Pete Werner has become a mainstay in the New Orleans defense, appearing in 56 games with 48 starts, posting 323 tackles (205 solo), five pass breakups, one interception, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries. Werner turned in another productive campaign in year four, posting 92 tackles (54 solo) and one pass breakup, while starting all 13 games he appeared in.
