NFL CAREER –This veteran tight end enters his eighth NFL season and first with the Black and Gold. For his career, the former Iowa standout has appeared in 110 regular season games with 90 starts, recording 334 receptions for 3,593 yards (10.8 avg.) with 18 touchdowns and has posted at least 30 receptions in each of the last seven seasons (2019-25), one of only eight active tight ends in the NFL to do so. In 2025, Fant served as an effective red zone threat for the Cincinnati Bengals, when he made 34 receptions for 288 yards with three touchdowns. Fant brings a rare combination of size, speed and strength to the Saints air attack in 2026.

Chicago, Nov. 2, had two receptions for 28 yards, including a 23-yard touchdown. 2024 – Played in 14 games with nine starts in his final season with the Seahawks and finished with 500 receiving yards on 48 receptions…Vs. Miami, finished with six receptions for 60 yards...At Atlanta, Oct. 19, tallied four receptions for 65 yards (16.3 avg.)...Vs. Minnesota, Dec. 22, caught three passes for 50 yards (16.7 avg.). 2023 – Started all 17 games for the Seattle Seahawks and caught 32 passes for 414 yards (12.9 avg.)...At Detroit, Sept. 17, finished with four catches for 56 yards (14.0 avg.), including two receptions for 20 yards in overtime of the game-winning drive of Seattle's dramatic 37-31 victory...Vs. Carolina, Sept. 24, finished with four receptions for 41 yards (10.3 avg.)...Hauled in a 51-yard receptions at N.Y. San Francisco, Dec. 15, caught five passes for 32 yards with one touchdown…In NFC Wild Card at 49ers, 1/14/23, had a 11-yard grab. 2021 – Started all 16 games for Denver and registered a career-high and team-leading 68 catches for 670 yards and four TDs...His 68 receptions were the fifth-most by a TE in a season in franchise history...Tied for seventh in the NFL among TEs with his 68 grabs...At Jacksonville, Sept. 19, finished with four receptions for 33 yards with one touchdown...Vs. Philadelphia, Nov. 14, had 59 yards receiving on five grabs. 2020 – Appeared in 15 games with 14 starts for the Broncos and caught 62 passes for a career-high 673 yards (10.9 avg.) and three TDs...Ranked sixth in the NFL among TDs in receiving yardage and seventh in receptions...Vs. Tennessee, Sept. 14, in season opener, led the Broncos with five receptions for a club-best 81 yards (16.2 avg.) with a nine-yard touchdown. 2019 – Played in all 16 games with 11 starts as a rookie, ranking second on the team in yards per reception (14.1), receiving touchdowns (three) and receiving yards (562) on 40 grabs which ranked third on club…Selected to the PFWA All-Rookie Team...became just the sixth rookie tight end in league history with multiple 100-yard receiving games...Vs. Cleveland, Nov. 3, finished with three receptions for career-high 115 yards (38.3 avg.), including a career-long 75-yard touchdown…At Houston, Dec. 8, finished with four receptions for 113 yards (28.3 avg.) with one touchdown.

COLLEGE – Saw action in 36 games with 14 starts at Iowa, totaling 78 receptions for 1,083 yards (13.9 avg.) with 19 TDs during collegiate career (2016-18)…Appeared in 12 games with seven starts during his junior season, finishing with 39 catches for 519 yards (13.3 avg.) with seven touchdowns. Selected as a third-team All-American by the AP and first-team All-Big Ten Conference honoree as a John Mackey Award (nation's top tight end) semifinalist. Helped Hawkeyes to a 8-4 regular season record…Started seven of 13 games played as a sophomore, tying for the most receiving touchdowns by a tight end in NCAA FBS (11), while setting an Iowa single-season record by a tight end. Led all FBS tight ends. Chosen as a third-team All-Big Ten selection…Majored in biology.

PERSONAL – Played both TE and DE at Omaha (Neb.) South HS, where he was chosen to the All-State team as a sophomore, junior and senior…Caught 78 passes for 1,064 yards (13.6 avg.) with 18 TDs between his junior and senior seasons…Contributed 48 tackles (21 solo) and five sacks during his final two prep seasons…Also competed in track (sprints, high jump, triple jump) and basketball.
