COLLEGE CAREER – A talented wide receiver who New Orleans selected with the eighth overall selection in the 2026 NFL Draft out of Arizona State, Tyson played in 33 career games with 23 starts for the Sun Devils (2023-25) and at Colorado (2022) and caught 158 passes for 2,282 yards (14.4 avg.) with 22 touchdowns. Tyson entered the starting lineup in 2024 with immediate results. He helped put the Sun Devils in position to qualify for the College Football Playoff in his first season as a starter and posted back-to-back All-American campaigns. Tyson will look to integrate into the Saints offense in training camp after a standout senior campaign, where he caught 61 passes for 711 yards and eight touchdowns, as he was selected as an Associated Press third-team All-American and a first-team All-Big 12 selection.

2025 – As a senior, named AP third-team All-American for the second consecutive season, when he started all nine games he appeared in, sidelined for four contests with a hamstring injury…First-team All-Big 12…Voted team captain…Finished  season with 61 passes for 711 yards with eight touchdown grabs…Tied a career-high in catches with 12 receptions for 141 yards  with two touchdowns in the season opener against Northern Arizona on August 30…Awarded Big 12 Co-Player of the Week after his ten-catch, 105-yard receiving performance in win over #7 Texas Tech on October 18…In a 27-24, come-from-behind win vs. #24 TCU on September 26, exploded for eight receptions for 126 yards (15.8 avg.) with two touchdowns, including a second quarter 57-yard scoring grab and a four-yard TD catch with 1:50 left that tied contest at 24-24. 2024 – Named the Big 12 Offensive Newcomer of the Year and a third-team All-American selection by the AP, when he started all 12 games he appeared in…Led the Sun Devils in receiving, finishing the season with 75 catches for 1,101 yards (14.7 avg.) with ten touchdowns…Ten TDs tied him for sixth all-time in ASU history, one of just 11 Sun Devils to reach double digits in a season…Had five games of 100 yards receiving, including career-high 12 catches for career-best 176 yards (14.7 avg.) and two TDs at 16th-ranked Kansas State on November 16…Had five receptions for 84 yards with a 26-yard TD in a 27-19 win vs. 16th-ranked Utah on October 11…Finished with seven receptions for 99 yards with two TDs, including a game-winning 13-yard TD grab with 4:55 left in 35-31 come-from-behind victory vs.. UCF on November 9…Nine catches for 125 yards in 28-23 win vs. 14th-ranked BYU on November 23.  2023 – Played in three games as a reserve wide receiver for the Sun Devils. 2022 – Played in nine games with two starts as a true freshman at Colorado, making a name for himself both as a big-play wide receiver and on special teams...Had 22 receptions for a team-leading 470 yards (21.4 avg-fourth-highest in the FBS) with four touchdowns…Highlight of his freshman season was when he was named Pac-12 Freshman of the Week and Special Teams Player of the Week against his future team, Arizona State on October 29 and was voted the Offensive Player of the Game. Had 115 receiving yards and a touchdown, as well as 131 punt return yards with one TD, for a total of 246-all-purpose yards. First CU player to have 100 receiving yards and punt return yards in a single game…Against Oregon on November 5, had five receptions for 137 yards (27.4 avg.) with a college career-long 81-yard scoring grab.

Jordyn's item was a "Touchdown Sandwich", comprising of lettuce, tomato and chicken tenders tossed in sweet chili sauce along with honey mustard on a bun…Also partnered with Chipotle as an undergraduate…Older brother, Jaylon, played basketball at Texas, Texas Tech and California and was the 20th overall pick by the Cleveland Cavaliers in the 2024 NBA Draft…They are the first set of brothers selected in the first round of the NFL Draft and NBA Draft…Jordyn and Jaylon's older half-brother, Berron was a two-sport athlete (football-running back and track and field-decathlete) at South Alabama (2014-17) and is currently the assistant director of sports performance at Austin Peay State…Both parents served in the United States Air Force…Father, John, a software engineer, played college football at Florida A&M (1989-91), serving in Anchorage, Ak., and then, Tucson, Ariz…Graduated with a Communications degree.
