COLLEGE: Vele appeared in 47 games with 28 starts in five seasons with the University of Utah…He recorded 123 receptions for 1,689 yards (13.7 avg.) with nine touchdowns and returned 27 punts for 273 yards (10.1 avg.)…In 2023, he played in ten games with nine starts, tallying a team-high 43 receptions for 593 yards (13.8 avg.) with three touchdowns…In 2022, he was named Pac-12 All-Conference honorable mention after appearing in 14 games with 12 starts, finishing second on the team in receptions (55) and receiving yards (695) with five touchdowns…Was an initial walk-on for the Utes, but earned a scholarship in 2020.

PERSONAL: Was a dual sport athlete at Rancho Bernardo High School (San Diego, Calif.), playing football and basketball…Ammassed 52 receptions for 980 yards (18.8 avg.) with 11 touchdowns as a senior, completed his only pass attempt for a 45-yard touchdown and grabbed two interceptions…Rancho Bernardo won the California state title when he was a Junior in 2015, and he tallied 126 yards, two touchdowns and brought down two interceptions in the state title game…Served an LDS church mission in Samoa…Born in San Deigo on Dec. 12, 1997.
