COLLEGE CAREER – A talented wide receiver out of San Ysidro, California who became one of the most prolific receivers in Buckeyes history, Olave played in 47 games and caught 176 passes for 2,711 yards (15.4 avg.) with 35 touchdowns. Olave's 35 career touchdown receptions set an Ohio State program record and ranks fourth in Big Ten Conference history. His 11 career 100-yard games also ranks second in school history. Olave entered the starting lineup in 2019 with immediate results. He helped lead the Buckeyes to three consecutive Big Ten championships (2018-2020) and back-to-back College Football Playoff appearances (2019, 2020). In the 2020 CFP Semifinal vs. Clemson, Olave had a career night, hauling in six passes for 132 yards and two touchdowns in a 49-28 win, securing a bid to play in the championship game.
