Game Recap: Chicago Bears 26, New Orleans Saints 14 | 2025 NFL Week 7

The New Orleans Saints rallied from a 20-point deficit but came up short in a 26-14 loss to the Chicago Bears on Sunday at Soldier Field in Chicago.

The Bears (4-2) won their fourth consecutive game while ending an eight-game losing streak to the Saints. The loss dropped the Saints to 1-6.

Chicago scored on an 11-yard run by D'Andre Swift, a one-yard run by Kyle Monangai and four field goals by Jake Moody.

The Saints struggled early on offense, running 24 plays for just 13 yards when quarterback Spencer Rattler turned things around with a five-play, 91-yard touchdown drive, capped by a 21-yard pass to receiver Chris Olave with 27 seconds to play. The Saints then took the opening drive of the second half 80 yards, ending with a 14-yard touchdown pass to Olave to make it 20-14. But that's as close as the Saints would get as the Bears added a pair of Moody field goals and dominated the time of possession with their running game.

Saints running back Alvin Kamara surpassed 12,000 yards from scrimmage as he carried 11 times for 28 yards and caught three passes for one yard. He needs two receptions to reach 600 for his career.

Rattler had two turnovers in the first half, a lost fumble and an interception, and had two interceptions in the second half. He was 16 of 26 for 183 yards. Olave had five receptions for 98 yards and two touchdowns while Juwan Johnson had five receptions for 79 yards.

Rookie cornerback Quincy Riley made the first interception of his career in the first quarter, picking off Chicago quarterback Caleb Williams. ... Running back Kendre Miller left the game in the first quarter with a knee injury and was ruled out. Center Erik McCoy left the game in the fourth quarter with a biceps injury. ... Kicker Blake Grupe missed a 53-yard attempt in the first half. Chase Young and Bryan Bresee combined on a sack in the fourth quarter.

The Saints will play host to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (5-1) on Sunday, Oct. 26 at the Caesars Superdome. Tampa plays "Monday Night Football" at Detroit before coming to New Orleans.
