NFL CAREER – This former fifth round draft pick has been a vital part of the Saints defensive line since being drafted in the 2015 NFL Draft (154th overall). The Fresno State product followed up his first two seasons with an even more productive campaign in 2017, helping the defense post 42 sacks, ranking seventh in the league and allowing only 20.4 points per game, good for tenth in the NFL. In 2017, he started all 16 games posting 31 tackles (21 solo), one pass defensed and two forced fumbles. Overall in three seasons, the disruptive defensive tackle has 86 tackles (50 solo), 1.5 sacks, two pass deflections and two forced fumbles. Davison looks to continue to grow as a member of a youthful and improving Saints defense line.

COLLEGE – Played in 53 games along the line at Fresno State, producing 161 tackles, 28.5 tackles for loss and 14.5 sacks during career. First-team All-Mountain West as senior after racking up single-season career-highs in tackles (61), tackles for loss (13.0), sacks (8.5) and forced fumbles (two). Tied for fourth in conference in sacks and seventh in tackles for loss…As junior in 2013, second-team All-MWC, starting all 13 games at NG for second straight season. Registered 41 tackles, 7.5 tackles for a loss, two sacks, two passes defensed and a blocked PAT…As sophomore in 2012, was first-team All-MWC, starting all 13 games at nose guard. Posted 43 tackles, the most among Bulldog linemen, and added seven tackles for loss, three sacks and three fumble recoveries, tied for second-most in the conference, one for a TD…As a freshman in 2011, an Academic All-WAC selection, playing in all 13 games and finishing with 16 stops, the most by a front four non-starter…Criminology-Law Enforcement major.

 

PERSONAL – Team captain at Desert Mountain (Scottsdale, Ariz.)
