For Josh Hill, an undrafted free agent who made the 53-man roster out of training camp, his rookie season was an opportunity to contribute on both offense and special teams while training and learning alongside veterans Jimmy Graham and Benjamin Watson. He played in 14 games with three starts as a rookie and showed flashes of what’s to come with six receptions for 44 yards with one touchdown, while adding three special teams stops. With the opportunity to become more adjusted to the club’s offensive system in 2014, the door of opportunity is wide open to compete for more playing time. Hill came to New Orleans from Idaho State where he caught 70 passes for 630 yards and five touchdowns as a senior.
