Making the club as an undrafted free agent in 2014 out of training camp, Josh Hill’s development on offense has been an asset to the unit. Hill has also developed into one of the club’s top special teams players, leading the team with 15 stops in coverage units in 2014. In his second season, Hill set career-highs in all receiving and special teams categories, as he appeared in all 16 games with three starts on offense and recorded 14 receptions for 176 yards and five touchdowns.

2014 – played in all 16 games with three starts, posting career-highs in all categories with 14 receptions for 176 yards (12.6 avg.) with five touchdowns and a team-best 15 special teams stops…Totaled two catches for 48 yards, including a 34-yard touchdown, while also chipping in two special teams tackles, vs. Minnesota, Sept. 21... Caught a throw for a 12-yard touchdown marking his second consecutive contest with one score at Dallas, Sept. 28...Tallied career-highs in catches, yardage and receiving long with three grabs for 53 yards, including a career-long 37-yard reception vs. Tampa Bay, Oct. 5...Caught a two-yard touchdown vs. Green Bay, Oct. 26…Hauled in a 17-yard reception and made two special teams stops at Pittsburgh, Nov. 30…Recorded two touchdown receptions for seven and eight yards marking his first career multiple-touchdown game at Chicago, and chipped in career-high three special teams tackles. Dec. 15.  2013 – Appeared in 14 regular season games with three starts and posted six receptions for 44 yards with a touchdown. Also had a rush for -8 yards and three special teams tackles…In two postseason games, had two receptions for 32 yards…Made first career catch and finished with two receptions for 17 yards vs. Buffalo, Oct. 27…Started in two-tight end set and posted first career touchdown reception vs. San Francisco, Nov. 17…Tied career-high with two receptions for 16 yards at Atlanta, Nov. 21…Inactive for games 14 and 15 with a hamstring injury…In NFC Wild Card Playoff win at Philadelphia, 1/4/14, made his postseason debut and had a nine-yard reception…Recorded a 23-yard reception in NFC Divisional Playoff at Seattle, 1/11/14.

COLLEGE – Finished with 152 receptions for 1,338 yards and nine touchdowns at Idaho State after transferring from Boise State, where he redshirted in 2008...Earned third team Associated Press All-American and second team All-Big Sky as a senior as he caught 70 passes for 630 yards and five touchdowns...As a junior, played in 11 games with 10 starts and finished second on team in receiving, collecting 48 passes for 407 yards, earning All-Big Sky honorable mention...Played in all 11 games as a sophomore and totaled 25 grabs for 233 yards with three touchdowns…Graduated with a bachelor’s degree in sports management.

PERSONAL – Prepped at Blackfoot (Idaho) HS, where he was named first team All-State and All-Conference…Also earned first team All-High Country Conference in both baseball and basketball…Spoke to students at Ethel Schoeffner Elementary in Destrehan in the 2015 offseason as part of a Junior Training Camp…Born Joshua James Hill, on May 21, 1990 in Blackfoot, Idaho.
