COLLEGE CAREER –  A first-team All-Big Ten selection and the top-rated cornerback in the NFL Draft, while Lattimore played in only 20 games at Ohio State, he made quite an impression in the Buckeyes secondary in his only campaign as a full-time starter in 2016, showing the speed to keep up with fast receivers as well as impressive ball skills. Opening all 13 games, he posted 41 tackles (30 solo), one stops for loss, four interceptions and 13 passes defensed for the nation’s sixth-ranked defense. Rankins’ ability to excel both on the outside and in the nickel will put him in line to compete for a starting spot and make a contribution to the New Orleans secondary as a rookie in 2017.
