Ochsner Hero: Alfred Hand
Alfred Hand celebrated the ten year anniversary of receiving his Left Ventricular Assist Device at Ochsner. The Saints were happy to join the celebration by honoring Alfred as the Ochsner Hero of the Game on Sunday.
Ochsner Hero: Ronnie Cooley
Ochsner and the Saints were able to make Ronnie's dream come true by inviting him for a VIP experience at his first ever NFL game. Special thanks to his hero, Steve Gleason for making his experience extra memorable
Ochsner Hero: Jalanea Lowe
This week's Ochsner Hero of the week is Jalanea Lowe. She was diagnosed with leukemia and received a life saving spinal surgery by the surgeons at Ochsner Hospital for Children.
Ochsner Hero: Cecilia Shaffette
Cecilia Shaffete was honored as the Ochsner Hero of the Game last Sunday and was given game tickets and field passes for her family. Cecilia got an autograph from Drew Brees, wide receiver Keith Kirkwood's gloves, an autographed picture from the Saintsations and challenged Gumbo to a dance-off.
