Ochsner Hero: Mary Davis
Mary was diagnosed with throat cancer at Ochsner in 1969, when she was only 16 years old. At 17, she underwent neck surgery which was successful in removing her cancer, putting her in remission. Mary will be celebrating her 50th anniversary being cancer-free in 2020 and is thankful for the great care that she received at Ochsner from Dr. Francis Lejeune and Dr. John Ochsner.
