NFL CAREER – After being awarded off of waivers to New Orleans a week prior to the start of the regular season, Truss appeared in seven games during his rookie campaign with the Black and Gold on special teams. The two-time national champion out of the University of Georgia will look to carve out a bigger role as a quality depth piece along the offensive line.

COLLEGE – Appeared in 67 games with 42 starts in six seasons at the University of Georgia (2019-24)…Started all 14 games on the offensive line as a senior. Named to the Outland Trophy Watch List and invited to the Reese's Senior Bowl…In 2023, was named second team All-SEC (coaches) after appearing in all 14 games (13 starts) on an offensive line that ranked first in the Southeastern Conference and seventh nationally in fewest sacks allowed (0.93)…In 2022, played in all 15 games with 14 starts at LG…In 2021, saw action in all 15 games as a reserve lineman…In 2020, saw action in six games, including starting at left tackle in the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl…Appeared in three games as a true freshman in 2019…Graduated with a bachelor's degree in housing management & policy.

PERSONAL – Prepped at Bishop Hendricken (Warwick, R.I.) HS, where he was named Providence first-team All-State as a junior and helped the team to back-to-back Rhode Island State Super Bowl appearances, winning the 2018 state title…Played along the defensive line as a junior along with seeing action with the offensive line, recording 45 tackles and two sacks…Truss was the highest-rated recruit in Rhode Island high school football history…Also competed in track and field and was a three-time state champion in shot put and discus…A big ice hockey fan…Born on July 13, 2001, in West Warwick, R.I.
