Biography

NFL CAREER – Claimed off of waivers from Green Bay at the conclusion of the 2017 preseason by the Saints, Hill has provided value to New Orleans in multiple spots on both offense and special teams over the past eight seasons. In 2024, Hill continued to excel in a hybrid role, taking snaps at quarterback, tight end, running back and wide receiver positions as well as being a contributor on special teams. Before suffering a season-ending knee injury in Week 13, Hill started all eight contests he played in, carrying 39 times for 278 yards (7.1 avg.) with six touchdowns to tie for the team lead, catching 23 passes for 187 yards, completing two passes for 21 yards and adding one defensive tackle/forced fumble. Hill, selected a team captain for the first time in 2024, contributed on several special teams units, forcing a safety on an aborted punt and returning a kickoff for 42 yards. Hill has 11 career touchdown passes, 33 rushing touchdowns and 11 career receiving scores, making him the first NFL player since Frank Gifford (1952-64) to reach double-digit totals in passing, rushing and receiving touchdowns. In addition to his statistics in reaching the end zone, Hill has carried 437 times for 2,437 yards (5.6 avg.), caught 99 passes for 943 yards, completed 193-of-302 passes (63.9 pct.) for 2,369 yards, returned 20 kickoffs for 489 yards and added 15 special teams stops and a blocked punt. Hill's 5.6 yards per carry average ranks second in franchise history.
