COLLEGE: Pettis played in 53 games (36 starts) in four years at Washington and registered 163 receptions for 2,256 yards (15.7 avg.) and 24 touchdowns. On special teams, he had 90 punt returns for 1,274 yards (14.2 avg.) and nine touchdowns to set an NCAA record…In 2017, Pettis was a consensus first-team All-America selection and earned first-team All-Pac-12 honors at both wideout and return specialist, when he played in 13 games with 12 starts and tallied 63 receptions for 761 yards and seven touchdowns, while adding 21 punt returns for 428 yards (20.4 avg.) and four touchdowns. PERSONAL: Prepped at JSerra Catholic (San Juan Capistrano, Calif.) HS, where he earned first-team All-CIF Southern Section Pac-5 Division and first-team All-Trinity League as a wide receiver in 2013, when he registered 50 receptions for 889 yards and 11 touchdowns…Played basketball and also was a member of the track & field team, competing in the California state championships in both the 200 meters and the long jump…Pettis has many interests off the field, including playing the guitar and ukulele, literature and photography…If he was not playing football, Pettis says that he would be taking wildlife photos for a publication such as National Geographic Magazine…Participated in NFL's "My Cause, My Cleats" initiative, wearing custom-designed cleats in an effort to raise awareness for DrawBridge in 2018, which provides free art programs for homeless and underserved children in the Bay area…Participated in Saints Hall of Fame Golf Tournament…Father, Gary played 11 seasons in Major League Baseball for the California Angels, Detroit Tigers, Texas Rangers, and San Diego Padres, winning five Gold Gloves.
