David Chaix, C.P.A., is in his first year as Senior Vice President/Chief Financial Officer for the New Orleans Saints and New Orleans Pelicans. In his role, Chaix oversees the financial management of both clubs, leading the strategic planning, budgeting, financial reporting, payroll, capital projects, and tax and audit processes.

Chaix also serves as the primary financial liaison with the Louisiana Stadium and Exposition District, which is responsible for the maintenance, management and enhancement of the playing facilities of the Saints and Pelicans. In addition to working with the LSED for multiple renovations and enhancements of the home stadium and home court of the teams, he has also played a critical role in the expansion of the Ochsner Sports Performance Center, helping provide state of the art playing and practice facilities.

Prior to joining the executive leadership team this year, Chaix served five years as Vice President/Head of Team Accounting. In his previous role, he oversaw all financial and accounting operations of the teams, including managing the team's budget, treasury, financial reporting, payroll, and compliance functions.

A New Orleans native and long-time Saints season ticket holder prior to joining the organization, Chaix attended Brother Martin High School and earned B.S. degrees in Accounting and Business from the University of New Orleans. Chaix joined the organization in January 2020 after a 14-year stint at Ernst & Young, where he served as a Managing Director in the assurance practice.

Chaix is currently a member of the U.S. Finance Executive Group, the Power Milers Track Club, previously completing the Boston Marathon twice in under three hours, and has also served as a Corporate Board Member for the Boys and Girls Club of Southeast Louisiana.

He and his wife, Chasity, have three children.
