Dave Desposito, who oversees the filming of all games and practices and edits the video daily for the coaches, scouts, and front office personnel, enters his 24th season with the New Orleans Saints as video director.
Desposito's responsibilities include breaking down the opponent's weekly game video and maintaining a detailed archive for the coaching staff. Under his supervision, the Saints have installed a state-of-the-art digital editing system networked throughout the Ochsner Sports Performance Center for the coaching and player personnel staff. He also oversaw the club's upgrade to HD technology and manages the "Thunder Cloud" tablet video downloads for players, coaches, and road scouts, as well as uploading weekly game film to the NFL's network cloud.
Desposito came to New Orleans after serving as assistant video director for the Jacksonville Jaguars from 1998-2001. He worked from 1993-97 for the New York Giants as an intern, coach's show assistant, and video assistant.
A native of Little Ferry, N.J., Desposito graduated from William Paterson University with a degree in communications.
