On a night Oak Grove honored its seniors, the home team stormed back late, scoring 10 unanswered points in the game's final minutes to force overtime. Oak Grove struck first with a touchdown in overtime, but the visiting Vikings answered with a 10-yard touchdown pass and a two-point conversion to seal the win and remain unbeaten.

It was the "Battle of the Shores" as the Lakeshore High School Titans hosted the Northshore High School Panthers for the Sanderson Farms Louisiana High School Game of the Month. Northshore prevailed 31-10 in a game in which each team fielded a female placekicker.
