Over 200 senior citizens and other residents of Dryades YMCA's community support groups received turkeys (through contactless deliveries) that were funded by New Orleans Saints players, continuing their annual turkey giveaway tradition amid the Covid-19 pandemic.

St. Amant hosted rival East Ascension in the Sanderson Farms Louisiana High School Game of the Month for November. St. Amant jumped out to any early 14-0 first quarter lead but the East Ascension defense responded with two pick-sixes in the second quarter to tie up the game. Down by eight late in the game, St. Amant drove down and scored a touchdown and a 2-point conversion in the final seconds to force overtime where East Ascension ended the game with a touchdown run giving them a 35-32 victory.

In our Sanderson Farms Louisiana High School Game of the Month, the Brother Martin Crusaders hosted the John Curtis Christian Patriots at Strawberry Stadium on the campus of Southeastern University in Hammond. With the Catholic League title on the line, the two teams slugged it out in a back-and-forth battle, each finding the end zone five times, but it was a Crusader field goal followed by a fourth down stop by the defense in the final minutes that gave Brother Martin the 38-35 win to cap an undefeated season.

In their Region 3-5A season finale, Brookhaven High School hosted West Jones High School on Senior Night at King Field for the Sanderson Farms Mississippi High School Game of the Month for November. The Brookhaven Panthers couldn't overcome an overwhelming air assault by the visiting Mustangs as West Jones won the game 44-13.
