On May 6, 2020 the Blue Angels, the Navy's elite flying squadron, flew over the Mercedes-Benz Superdome and the city as a salute and thank you to New Orleans' front line workers battling the coronavirus.

Newly signed Saints quarterback Jameis Winston donated $30,000 dollars to support struggling families and small restaurants throughout the Tampa Bay area on May 2, 2020. This month-long meal distribution program will feed over 1,000 underprivileged families each week.
