NFL CAREER –This veteran tight end enters his 12th NFL season and second campaign with the Black and Gold. For his career, Cook has appeared in 163 games with 84 starts, recording 468 receptions for 6,169 yards (13.2 avg.) and 34 touchdowns and has posted at least 30 receptions in each of the last nine seasons (2011-19), one of only two active tight ends in the NFL to do so.

He ranks third among NFL tight ends with a 13.2-yard receiving average since 2011 and holds the single-game franchise record for the most receiving yards by a tight end for the Titans, Rams and Raiders. In 2019, Cook provided a vertical threat at tight end for the Saints as he posted 43 receptions for 705 yards (16.4 avg.) with nine touchdowns, setting career-highs in yards per catch which led NFL tight ends and scoring grabs, ranked second at the position. Cook brings a rare combination of size, speed and strength to the Saints air attack.
