In his fourth season as a member of the coaching staff, Young will assist the defensive coaching staff, while assisting Joe Vitt with the linebackers.
In his fourth season as a member of the coaching staff, Young will assist the defensive coaching staff, while assisting Joe Vitt with the linebackers. In 2008, Young concluded a nine-year NFL career, where he appeared in 124 games and had 22.5 sacks and eight fumble recoveries. From 2004-08, he served as a valuable member of the Saints interior line rotation, starting 58-of-64 contests. Young played at Texas-El Paso from 1996-99 and graduated with a degree in criminal justice. He and his wife Noelle, have a son, Austin
