New Orleans Saints Executive Vice President/General Manager Mickey Loomis announced on Saturday the team has re-signed cornerback Nick Hixson and signed guard Paul Fenaroli and tight end Daniel Graham. The club has also waived linebacker Nate Bussey and waived/injured cornerback A.J. Davis and G Andrew Tiller.

Hixson (6-0, 189) spent three weeks of the 2012 offseason with the Saints after a standout four-year career at Hillsdale (Mich.) College. He excelled at cornerback, wide receiver and kickoff returner for the Chargers, where as a senior in 2011, he had two interceptions and broke up 11 passes, while also averaging 22.3 yards per kick return, as he was a First-Team All-GLIAC selection.

Fenaroli is a 6-2, 300-pound product of Stony Brook who first entered the National Football League as an undrafted free agent with the Atlanta Falcons in 2011 after spending that spring with the Iowa Barnstormers of the Arena Football League. He had a one week stint on the Green Bay Packers squad in 2011 also. Fenaroli was a two-time, first-team All-Big South selection at Stony Brook, who started 38 straight games on the offensive line for the Seawolves.

Graham, a 6-foot-3, 257-pound, 11th-year player out of the University of Colorado, has played in 142 games with 117 starts with the New England Patriots, who picked him with the 21st overall pick in the 2002 NFL Draft, the Denver Broncos and the Tennessee Titans and has recorded career totals of 224 receptions for 2,490 yards (11.1 avg.) with 25 touchdowns. In 2011, he appeared in all 16 games with seven starts for the Titans and recorded two receptions for 25 yards and one touchdown grab.
