NFL CAREER – After spending the start of the 2025 regular season on the Philadelphia Eagles practice squad, Cooks joined the Saints practice roster for the season's final three weeks and will now compete for a roster spot following a full offseason with the club. Originally signed by the Jacksonville Jaguars as an undrafted free agent out of San Jose State, Cooks appeared in 11 games for two seasons in Jacksonville and recorded three receptions for 38 yards, before joining the Eagles practice squad for the 2024 season playoffs en route to the Super Bowl championship.
