NFL CAREER – New Orleans' top draft choice in 2023, Bresee enjoyed a breakout season in 2024, when he played in all 17 games with his first 11 career starts, contributing at both defensive tackle and on special teams. The former Clemson standout recorded 25 tackles, a career-high and team-leading 7.5 sacks, three pass breakups, one forced fumble and one blocked field goal. Bresee's 7.5 sacks was tied for fourth among NFL defensive tackles and is tied for the ninth-highest total in franchise history at the position. In two seasons, Bresee has not missed a contest and has posted 49 tackles, 12 takedowns, nine pass breakups, one forced fumble and one blocked field goal. With 12 sacks in his first two seasons in the NFL, Bresee has become only the seventh Saint to start their career with 12+ quarterback takedowns in their first two seasons in the NFL with the club. The third-year pro will look to build upon his first two seasons to fortify the Black and Gold interior.
