NFL CAREER – Originally signed as an undrafted free agent by the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2024, Beanie Bishop Jr. made waves in his rookie year before landing on the Saints practice squad in 2025. He played in all 17 games with six starts and registered 39 tackles (25 solo), seven pass breakups, four interceptions, two tackles for loss, one fumble recovery, a half-sack and six special teams stops. He was named NFL Defensive Rookie of the Month for his performance in the month of October after registering 16 tackles (13 solo), two tackles for loss and an NFL-tying best three interceptions that month. His four interceptions were tied for the most by an undrafted rookie in 2024, and he had four of the 11 picks by undrafted rookies across the NFL that year. His four interceptions were the most by a Steelers undrafted rookie and tied for the ninth-most by an undrafted rookie since the 1970 AFL-NFL merger. Bishop will look to keep showcasing his talent this offseason and compete for a spot in the New Orleans secondary.
