SAINTS PLAYER QUOTES

QB Garrett Grayson

(On his performance)

"I thought I played with a little more tempo, which is what coach wants. I'm not super happy with my first three games."

(On the importance of a good final impression)

"After my first three games I thought it was important confidence-wise and showing my coaches that I can do it. I've been trying to improve each week and it is definitely something I thought about before the game."

(On adjusting to the regular season)

"I'm used to it at this point. I get to sit and learn behind those two. I'll take the same approach this year. I'll study during the week in case my number is ever called. I'll follow in their footsteps and if my number is ever called, then I'll be ready."

RB Willie Snead

(On tonight's game)

"I thought it was an OK game. We need to improve on offense, defense and special teams. We need to go in and get ready for the season opener."

(On his concentration on ball security)

"A lot and I know I needed to improve. Putting the ball on the ground is something that can't happen. I need to increase my focus and keep my hands tight."

(On if pre-season wins are important)

"Wins are important. You always want to win. As a competitor, you never want to take the loss. I think we learned a lot about our team. We see some good areas and we see some areas where we need some work. It's all about coming back and picking up where we left off."

WR Brandon Coleman

(On the dropped catch)

"It's important to make every catch. That one doesn't factor in more than the other ones. I just have to catch the ball."

(On the physicality)

"It's part of the game. You're going to get hit. You just have to adjust to it. I think that I am doing fine."

(On if he has improved this summer)

"I think there is still more room for improvement. I still feel good about myself."
