A fundraiser for Hokie Gajan, "Hokie Fest 2016," held at Friends Coastal Restaurant (407 St. Tammany St., Madisonville) Sunday will help raise funds for the former New Orleans Saints running back and longtime radio commentator in his fight against cancer.
The party was organized by Gajan friends and supporters.
The event will feature live music and an ongoing auction.

Last fall, Gajan was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer called liposarcoma.
