Air Force serviceman reunited with family thanks to Crown Royal, Saints

Jaron Augustus surprised his family during Sunday's Saints-Bucs game

Preceding the New Orleans Saints vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers Week 9 game, Crown Royal hosted a bag-stuffing station where fans were able to pack bags with goods to be sent to military members stationed overseas. Bags were filled with "random" items requested by members of the military such as K-cups, oatmeal, coffee creamers, Slim Jms, personalized notes and much more. For every bag filled Crown Royal committed to donating $1 to "Packages from Home," a non-profit organization dedicated to our U.S. servicemen and women overseas.

Crown Royal also hosted the Crown Royal Military surprise for Air Force Serviceman Jaron Augustus and his family. During the first half, Augustus was welcomed home and reunited with his family in a special ceremony that brought some in the sellout crowd to tears. Augustus was deployed in Ramstein Air Force Base in Germany and had not seen his family in one year.

Serviceman Augustus and his family were overcome with emotion saying, "I couldn't think of anything better (than being here). I can't even find words for it."
