2015-16 Saintsations Calendar Release Gala on Monday, Aug. 17 at the Royal Sonesta

Tickets are just $40 per person

As the New Orleans Saints prepare for the 2015 regular season, the Saintsations are adding to the excitement with an unveiling of this year's 2015-16 New Orleans Saintsations Swimsuit Calendar.  The Royal Sonesta New Orleans and the Saintsations will present the Calendar Release Gala on Monday, August 17th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

A limited number of gala tickets are available for $40 per person by calling 504.553.2221 or by emailing sappel@sonesta.com. Ticket price includes food and beverage offerings and fans will have the opportunity to get their Saintsations calendars signed by the entire cheerleading squad.  Because this popular event is always a sell-out, fans are urged to purchase their tickets in advance.

The elegant Grand Ballroom of Royal Sonesta New Orleans will be the setting for this black and gold extravaganza complete with a tailgate-inspired presentation that will have fans cheering right along with this year's talented squad.  Fox Sports NFL and NBA sideline reporter Jennifer Hale will serve as celebrity host for the evening along with Saints Team Ambassador Deuce McAllister.  Saints mascots Gumbo and Sir Saint will also be on hand.

"The Saintsations Calendar Release Gala is the first official appearance for the entire New Orleans Saintsations team.  This high-anticipated tradition helps kick off the football season and we are thrilled and honored that Royal Sonesta is once again a partner," said Lesslee Fitzmorris, St. All-Star president and Saintsations manager.

Proceeds from the gala are earmarked for the 5th Annual "Spirit Award," a scholarship fund that was established by Fitzmorris and Royal Sonesta New Orleans general manager Alfred L. Groos. The scholarship benefits aspiring high school seniors who wish to pursue dance team or cheerleading at the collegiate level and beyond.  For details on the Spirit Award or to submit a nomination, please visit www.saintsations.net.

"The Saintsations embody the spirit and enthusiasm of New Orleans Saints fans, said Groos.  "As we celebrate the resilience of our city and the strength of her people, we take great pride in presenting these talented young women who also devote so much of their time to community service. Their contagious energy provides an essential ingredient for a complete game-day experience."
