2009 New Orleans Saints Coaching School

    <span style="">On July 11, 2009 the New Orleans Saints, in conjunction with USA Football, will conduct a coaching school designed to give coaches on all levels the knowledge and expertise needed to improve the youth football experience for developing players.  

Some of the Gulf South region's top youth and high school coaches will serve as clinicians for this special one day school. Among the topics that will be taught range from everything from proper tackling and blocking techniques to more intricate sessions that cover the evolution of the spread offense to the principles of implementing a 4-4 defensive front, as well as best practice for running successful practices through effective communication.

"The New Orleans Saints Coaching School is a very successful program designed to enhance the overall football experience for coaches," said Saints Director of Youth Programs Jason Trosclair. "The intent of the session to provide coaches on all levels a platform for enhancing the enjoyment and safety for children that will participate in youth football programs. Some of the top coaches lend their expertise and proven track records to the program and are willing to work with other coaches in preparing for the upcoming youth football seasons."

Attendees will receive a USA Football Under Armour Tee-Shirt, a coaches gift bag, and lunch will also be provided.

-Teaching Proper Fundamentals
-Executing Drills
-Chalk Board Sessions
-Program Management
-Health & Safety

The New Orleans Saints Coaching School will be held at the New Orleans Saints' Training Facility on Airline Drive in Metairie, LA and will begin with registration at 8:30 a.m. and will commence at 9:30 am and end at 4:40 pm.

Registration should be completed by July 8, 2009 and the cost to attend is only $15.00 per person.
