New Orleans Saints 2017 season recap: Marcus Williams

Williams ranked second on the team in interceptions with four and third on the team in tackles

Marcus Williams came alive for the New Orleans Saints secondary in his rookie season. In the regular season the University of Utah product ranked second on the team in interceptions with four, third on the team in tackles with 73 and ranked top 50 in the NFL in combined tackles among defensive backs. The safety later tied Marshon Lattimore for interceptions (five) when he picked off Case Keenum in the divisional playoff game. Williams started 15 games for the Saints and was placed on the Pro Football Writers of America's All-Rookie team.

Best Game:Tampa Bay Buccaneers fans heard Williams' name several times in Week 17 after he picked off Tampa Bay quarterback Jameis Winston not once but twice. Along with his interceptions, Williams had a career-high eight tackles and a career-high two pass deflections.
