Reggie On Tour in UK

<span style="">NFL stars Reggie Bush and LaDainian Tomlinson kicked-off a busy two days of promotion for the NFL International Series game in London between the New Orleans Saints and [San Diego Chargers]( on Wednesday.

The two star running backs completed a gruelling day of interviews with some of the leading television, radio and press outlets in the UK.

"It's been a long process, but really fun meeting so many people here," said New Orleans' running back Bush. "It is obvious that there is a lot of excitement here around this game and everybody has been interested to hear from us about every aspect of our sport."

Bush's day started on BBC Radio 1Xtra, where he was interviewed by Trevor Nelson – a self-confessed Saints fan who travelled to New Orleans in 2006 to make an MTV show that centered around the Saints.

"It was great to meet Reggie again," said BBC 1Xtra's Nelson. "In New Orleans I met him briefly but we got a chance to have a longer talk today and get into some of the things he does away from his sport for our listeners."

After further interviews through the morning the two players sat down with sports editors from the national newspapers for an informal talk and lunch.

"The questions that we were asked during that session were interesting and it was good to get a sense of the interest that there is in the NFL in the UK," explained record-setting running back Tomlinson.

On Thursday both players will get a chance to see the stadium that the Saints will call home for one day – on Sunday October 26th when the International Series game takes place.

"I have heard about Wembley and I am looking forward to seeing the stadium," said Bush. "One thing I am going to check out is the turf as it is important for a player at my position to be able to get good traction."

Both players will be live on Talksport radio on Thursday afternoon from 2:00 p.m.
