New Orleans Saints lead Ravens 7-3 after first quarter

Both teams enter the game 3-0

First quarter update: Quarterback Luke McCown was a perfect 4 for 4 as he led the New Orleans Saints on a touchdown drive on their opening possession to take a 7-3 lead Thursday night at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome over the Baltimore Ravens. McCown hit running back Travaris Cadet with a 3-yard pass for the touchdown. McCown was replaced by Ryan Griffin after that possession.

The Ravens scored on a 36-yard Justin Tucker field goal.

Key stats: Saints, McCown, 4 for 4, 29 yards, one TD; Mark Ingram, one carry for eight yards; Joe Morgan, two receptions for 26 yards.
