Michael Thomas sets Saints single-season receiving yardage record

Thomas passes Saints legend Joe Horn


New Orleans Saints receiver Michael Thomas moved past Joe Horn into first on the team's single-season receiving yardage list during Sunday's game vs. the Carolina Panthers at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.

Thomas, in his third season out of Ohio State, entered the game with 1,376 yards on 120 catches. He moved past Horn's mark of 1,399 in the second half. Horn set the record in 2004 on 94 receptions. Thomas set the mark in the fourth quarter with a six-yard reception to give him 1,405 yards.
