Lance Moore, Keenan Lewis, Cameron Jordan and Michael Lewis reward students for their GPAs

Players took students on shopping spree at Target

Wide receiver Lance Moore, defensive end Cameron Jordan, cornerback Keenan Lewis and New Orleans Saints ambassador Michael Lewis teamed up with Speak Up Speak Out and Zahkii Sports™ to award students from Benjamin Banneker Middle School for achieving a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

The  Annual "Project Good Grades™" the took place Tuesday afternoon at Target in Metairie. The students were each awarded with a $100 shopping spree. When they arrived at Target, the students grabbed a shopping cart and were escorted by players up and down the aisles.

"Any time you get a chance to do a little positive reinforcement for kids for getting good grades ii is an awesome thing to do, especially the holiday season," Moore said. "To give these kids gift cards and let them be able to shop for their family, that's what it's all about."
