Entering his fifth year in New Orleans as college scouting coordinator, Jason Mitchell is responsible for maintaining the day-to-day operations of the college scouting department regarding scouts’ scheduling, processing and organizing the information gathered on draft-eligible players, and maintain a computer database of scouting reports.

Mitchell came to New Orleans after serving as the Director of External Operations at Rutgers University from 2005-07, after serving as an undergraduate recruiting assistant for the Scarlet Knights from 2001 until his graduation.  He graduated from Rutgers University with a B.S. in Sports Management in 2005. The Cresskill, N.J. native is married (Lindsey).
